About

Introduction
Welcome to the FAQ and How To blog of Yaoi Journal. Whether you are new to Yaoi Journal, or have been lurking around for a little while, you may find this blog a valuable resource to your surveying of all things pervy.
We’ve tried to be as detailed as possible by providing screen shots and step-by-step instructions. If, however, you are still as puzzled as an uke who has just been subjected to surprise-sex by his long time friend, please contact us with your question(s) or post here.
Although not all of the options, customizations or features available are completely explained in the FAQ, most of them are fairly self-explanitory. Have fun exploring everything this site has to offer, and don’t hesitate to use the FAQ.
Organization of Yaoi Journal
Very briefly, Yaoi Journal is an umbrella site containing (a) personal blogs, and (b) community blogs.
A personal blog is yours to do with what you will.
A community blog is a blog with a specific focus or interest where its members can contribute to discussions by commenting and also write posts to the community within its guidelines. Each community’s moderators/administrators sets the rules for that community.
You do not need a personal blog to view, post or comment in a community blog. You can simply sign up to Yaoi Journal for a username only.
Organization of FAQ
The FAQ and How To pages are organized as sequentially as possible so that you can begin at the top and work your way down (like a seme with a delectable uke). However, feel free to search for something in particular or select a specific page of interest.
The Quick & Dirty
If you only wish to sign up for a username so that you can score pretty boys or post in community blogs, you’ll be interested in the first half of Signing Up.
If you wish to sign up for a username and blog because you want to create your own personal yaoi haven, but want to get straight to the content (and hey, who can blame you?), then you may wish to proceed with the following:
- Search or scour Find Me @ YJ! for personal and community blogs of interest
- Set up your blog
